Privacy Policy

Suite is a web browser and personal cinema for Apple Vision Pro. It is built to keep your activity on your device. This policy explains what that means in plain language: what stays private, the few things that are handled by Apple and our subscription provider, and how to reach us.

The short version. The Suite app has no accounts. The websites you browse, the videos you watch, and the files you open from your library stay on your device. We do not collect or sell that activity. If you choose to send website feedback or request emails, we receive the information you submit, as explained below.

Who we are

Suite is made by Steven Kleinveld (Skylark), an independent developer. If you have any question about this policy or your data, email steven@skylark.dev.

What stays on your device

Suite is designed so that your activity never leaves your device unless you choose to share it:

  • Browsing. The sites you visit, your history, and anything you type into web pages are handled by the on-device web view and stay on your device.
  • Your own videos. When you play a video from Photos or Files, Suite reads it on your device to display it. Your videos are never uploaded to us.
  • Video preparation. When you send a web video to the big screen, the work of preparing it runs entirely on your device. We do not run a server in the middle.
  • Your settings. Your chosen environment, screen size, seating, and lighting preferences are stored locally on your device.

Information handled by others

Subscriptions

Suite Premium is sold as an in-app subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple, and we use RevenueCat to manage and validate subscriptions. To do this, RevenueCat receives purchase and receipt information and an anonymous identifier tied to your purchase, not to your name. We never receive your Apple Account password or full payment details.

Websites you visit

When you browse, your device connects directly to the websites you choose. Those sites have their own privacy practices and may set cookies or collect data under their own policies. That activity is between you and those sites.

App diagnostics

If you have enabled sharing of analytics and crash data in your device settings, Apple may share aggregated, anonymized diagnostics with us to help fix bugs and improve performance. You can turn this off at any time in your device's privacy settings. Suite does not include third-party advertising or tracking technology.

This website

We use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by our website host, to understand visits and useful interactions on suite.vision. It reports aggregate page views, approximate daily visitors, referring sites, broad location, and device, operating system and browser information. We also count clicks on navigation, screenshots and App Store links, and whether the feedback form is started or successfully sent.

Website analytics does not record the message, email address, reaction or votes you enter in the feedback form. We remove query strings and fragments from the page URLs sent for analytics. We do not use analytics cookies, session replay, or a persistent visitor identifier. Vercel uses a temporary request-derived hash that resets after a day, so visitor counts are estimates and do not identify people across days or devices. Our current plan provides a 12-month reporting window. Read how Vercel handles analytics data.

If you use the short feedback form on the homepage, Web3Forms sends us the message you type and any reaction you select by email so we can read and respond. We use that only to understand feedback and improve Suite.

Creator questionnaire and email choices

The questionnaire at suite.vision/creators is optional. It asks about your Suite subscription status, interest in creating or exploring spaces, creator needs, and any written feedback you choose to give. Your answers, a submission time and the form version are stored privately to help Steven improve Suite and plan its creator community. You do not need an account or an email address to send feedback. Please leave out passwords and sensitive personal information.

Suite updates and creator beta invitations are separate, unchecked email choices. We save your email address only if you select at least one. For each selected purpose, we record the wording you agreed to, its version, the time and the source page. Selecting one does not sign you up for the other. Repeating a submission does not create another contact. An unchecked box on a later questionnaire does not withdraw a previous email choice.

You can withdraw either choice at any time by emailing steven@skylark.dev and saying which emails you want to stop. Withdrawal does not affect your use of Suite or your ability to give feedback. We retain a record of the withdrawal so we can respect your choice. Submitting the questionnaire does not send a campaign or guarantee beta access.

Vercel hosts the questionnaire and processes submissions. Responses and email consent are stored in a private Neon Postgres database in the United States, with access restricted to the website’s server and Steven’s authorized owner tools. There is no public response list or public administration page. See Vercel’s privacy policy and Neon’s privacy policy.

To reduce spam, the server uses a signed, short-lived form session and a daily keyed hash of the requesting IP address for submission limits. The feedback database does not store the raw IP address. Expired rate counters are cleared as new submissions arrive. Our application does not log your answers or email address; hosting providers may process technical request information to operate and protect their services. Website analytics never receives your questionnaire answers or email address.

We review feedback and retain it while it is useful for product planning. Email choices are kept until withdrawn, with consent history retained to respect and document those choices. You can ask for access, correction or deletion by contacting Steven. For feedback sent without an email address, include the submission reference shown after sending so we can find it.

Children

Suite is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices and rights

You can manage your subscription in your Apple Account settings. For website feedback, email preferences, or any request about access, correction or deletion, contact steven@skylark.dev. We may ask for enough information to verify the request and find the relevant record. Sending feedback does not create a Suite account.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Suite after an update means you accept the revised policy.
